I am a grateful recovering addict. I love the program of NA. I have dedicated a lot of my time to service work. I am very active in my area. I participate in my home group, work with Special Events, and always make myself available to the newcomer. I work over the phone A LOT. Since I got clean, I just fell in love with NA. It's the only place I have ever felt really at home. I am someone here.
I have a sponsor. We are working the steps. I writing on 3 right now. I believe in being the sponsor I would want to have. I really stress service work and learning our history, but first the basics. I don't want to be anyone's trash dump, so don't think I'm going to just sit by while a sponsee just complains. I have a sponsor who says, "So what you gonna do about it?" I don't take whining, or excuses. I am very serious about this program and working it. I changed my life and I don't want to dedicate too much personal time to someone who wants to play around.
