Hi, I am a recovering addict and my name is Bobbie B. I live in a small town called Wynnewood in the state of Oklahoma. I first got clean in July of 1994. In July of 2006 I celebrated 9 years clean. Nope it didn't add up did it... That's because I thought I had the answers and just a little wouldn't hurt. I am very grateful to be back in the rooms. I learned some very valuable lessons..... 1.) I can't get this by ASSmosis 2.) It won't come to me. I have to be involved.
I have a GREAT Sponsor, I am very involved in my home group as Treasurer. I believe Sponsorship is very important and although I like having fun, I am real serious about my recovery and working the steps. I have a lot of women I sponsor both face to face and on-line.
So if your looking for a female sponsor "women" and you think I might be able to help, let me know. I am also available if you just need an on-line sister to talk to. I believe in meditation and journaling, working the steps in our Step guide and being of service. I started out in another fellowship and I am very grateful for that twelve step program, but I found my home in Narcotics Anonymous. I have one program because I have one disease called ADDICTION. You can contact me at pawwings@yahoo.com for now.
WOW! Recovery just keeps happening when we do the next right thing.
My husband landed this job in a little town of about 1500 people, so we left the comforts of our home in Cushing America.
It's been 9 1/2 months now. We love our new home and our new home group. I am 50 years old
and married to my best friend of 14 years. We are helping to raise our 13 year old grandson who is living with us again for a short time. His grades are picking back up after going down again. It's amazing how all kids really want is stability, love
and guidance in they're little lives. It's a blessing today that our grandkids know
Memaw and Papaw will always be a constant in their lives and that my family, is because of this fellowship
and you teaching me that I deserved to live a good life free from the disease of addiction.
I keep this life free by suiting up and showing up and giving back what has been so freely given to me. If you want what I have, you'll have to do what I do. 'IF YA DON'T PICK-UP..YA WON'T GET HIGH!!!'
In Service & Loving It,
Your sister Bobbie
