I'm an addict named Caren K. My clean date is March 11, 2007 and i live in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have gained so much so far in my time in the program and i want to share my experience strength and hope with other woman. Since joining the program I've dealt with so many obstacles such as : my child being a victim abuse, dealing with social services and custody court, and dealing with life on life terms on day at a time. There were so many times i wanted to use but as the basic text says we don't have to use no matter what. I have a wonderful sponsor that i work steps with. I am currently working on step 4. I talk to my sponsor r every day by email or phone. I have a wondeful sponsee family of women i can call on a good day or bad. I have a loving and caring higher power. I attend meetings on a regular basis and i do service work by being chairperson of a local meeting. I have got so much from these rooms (na) and all of you. I want to give back and share that there is a new way to live, a clean way, and it is wonderful and brings a new freedom that i never imagined.
