I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and have been very involved in the past in music and the arts in an urban area. I now live very simply and can best describe myself as a total tree hugger. Enough about me. What can I do for you? I can be your sponsor. But to do so I do have some requirements and boundaries I want to let you know right up front.  I  have been given the chance for a new way of life-clean one day at a time from Narcotics Antonymous. I love the fellowship. I love you even though we don't know one another yet. I want to help any female addict that wants the gift of recovery. I have worked the steps once and have started again and am beginning them again with an e sponsor I found here at Earthgroup.   What I expect form a sponsee is a desire to stop using. You have to be clean to work the steps. I expect you to want your recovery. I cannot do it for you. I can share my experience, strength and hope from my 12 years of being a member on NA. I  can't help someone who does not go to meetings, doesn't call me or e mail me. I in turn will call you, continue to go to meetings and e mail you. Sponsors are for working the steps. But I have never had a good sponsor sponsee relationship that wasn't give and take and we didn't become close friends.   I am doing this because I cannot keep what I have unless I give it away. We don't have to always agree and I will not manage your life-that's your job. I will suggest what I think will help you in your recovery. Take what you need and leave the rest. I am waiting to meet you and see what we can accomplish as equal members of the NA fellowship!
