Hi my name is Harm and i am a grateful recovered Addict.
I say recovered because my HP has removed the compulsion to use drugs or drink aclohol. That is I believe the spiritual experience. I believe in working the program fast intensely with rigorous honesty. That way we will become happy, joyous and free. Although recovery is a lifelong process the compulsion to use will be gone after the spiritual experience. I worked the steps several times, the first time around I was not willing to do all, I hope that's a mistake other addicts won't have to make.
I have used for about 9 years on and of. Have tried everything in my power to become clean. I have used for about 9 years on and off. I Have tried everything in my power to become clean. Although I was a time clean on my unaided will alone. I was not becomming happy, joyous and free. So relapse was inevitable. My second sponsor gave me the dignity to find out for myself if I was in fact an addict.
