My name is Jim T. and today, by the grace of my Higher Power, I am a grateful, recovering addict. I have been a member of Narcotics Anonymous for just about 5 years. I have worked the 12 Steps with my sponsor and I currently have one on-line and one face-to-face sponsee.
I don't believe anyone can recover without working the 12 Steps and integrating their spiritual principals into daily life. I am always eager to give back what has so freely been given to me through sponsorship. I am 58 years old, married to the love of my life for 38 years, have three beautiful children and three wonderful grand children. I would not be here to enjoy my family if it were not for the blessings I have received from the Narcotics Anonymous program.
I believe sponsorship is always a two way street, because I learn more about recovery as I help my sponsees work the 12 Steps and we learn to live life on life's terms together.
