Hi all! My name is Katie C. and I have 2+ years clean. My clean date 
is May 13, 2005. I live in Bowling Green, FL which most people have 
never heard of. The reason for that is it's in the middle of nowhere 
:) I have been of service in my local area as a meeting opener, 
coffee maker, treasurer and alternate GSR. I have a working knowledge 
of the NA Steps and Traditions as well as a love for recovery.

I have an understanding of relapse and coming back to NA. I 
relapsed after 15 months and had to start over again at the beginning, 
but I can honestly say that the relapse woke me up and made me see the 
importance of taking recovery seriously. Our literature talks about 
how this is sometimes the case, and in my situation it is definitely 
true. A lot of people think of Friday the 13th as a bad day, but it 
is one of the best days of my life, because it was a Friday the 13th 
when my relapse ended and my true recovery began. That was over two 
years ago and thru working the steps and being active in NA I am doing 
well and am excited about helping other women do the same.
