I'm an addict. My name's Kev B. Although I live and work in NJ, my life happens in Philadelphia PA. My relatives live there. My HG is there. My sponsor/sponsees live there. I attend 90% of my F2F meetings there.
I'm a firm believer in "the therapeutic value of one addict helping another", and that sponsorship is the heart of the fellowship. Sponsorship is a two way street. So, I don't "take on" sponsees. I enter into sponsor/sponsee relationships with willing partners. If you're willing to be a sponsee, I would be honored to be your sponsor.
I have a NA sponsor who has a NA sponsor. I have been thru the 12 steps of NA and will guide you, as best I can, through the 12 steps of NA. Realizing this is an online venue, I'll just mention that I have free long-distance from both home and cell phone, along with Canadian access. Thus, we can talk as well as type.
