My name is Laura P. and I am an addict.  My clean date is March 9,  
2006 and I live in Tacoma, WA. I want to carry the message of hope to  
others as it was given to me and that is why I am willing to be a  
sponsor.  I came into NA broken, desperate, angry and afraid.  Thru  
working the steps, I am learning to live life on life's terms.  I  
believe that sponsorship is a two-way street and that by giving away  
what I have to another, guiding them thru the steps - I get to keep  
what I have been given.  NA to me is all about one addict identifying  
with another addict and sharing our experience, strengths and hope.

Thank you for an opportunity to serve my Higher Power and others  
through sponsorship.
