Hi! My name is Pam and I am interested in online sponsorship. I have  
been involved in NA since January 9th, 2004. My clean date is May 3,  
2005. I had a brief 4 day relapse after 16 months in the program. I  
have been an addict since the day that I was born. I began drinking at  
the age of 13 and discovered drugs at the age of 17. My life became a  
living hell for the next 35 years. My addiction took me to the depths  
of hell and nearly claimed my life. It was only by the grace of a  
loving Higher Power whom I choose to call God that brought me to a  
treatment facility. It was there that I learned about the disease  
called addiction. Through the working of the 12 steps and the love of  
a wonderful sponsor have I been able to maintain my clean time. The  
rooms of NA has taught me a new way of living. I have lost the desire  
to use. I have found a way of living that has delivered me from the  
bonds of addiction. I have knowledge of the 12 steps and work my steps  
through the NA workbook. When it comes to my recovery I will get it 
wherever I can. I have the biggest and baddest disease there is and I 
need all the help that I can get. I was in an abusive, controlling 
relationship for years and am sensitive to the women's abuse issues.
