My name is Riley and I am an addict.
I am grateful to my HP and NA for another day clean and for showing me HOW to live!!! JFT!!!! My only hope is to live by the example of those that have faced my dilemma and have found a way out...the NA way. I have been doing this for just a few 24s and have worked the steps with my sponsor several times. "It works if you work it" As of today, Nov 24, 2006, I am again in the process of the 3rd step" We found that all WE needed to do was try. We gave our best effort, the program worked for us as it has worked for countless others" (Basic Text "How it Works" pg 25.)
I believe in the long, slow process today. This has never been a race for me and I surrender on a daily basis. I can experience and enjoy every moment of this journey. If you are new to recovery, welcome home. You never have to use again!!!!!
